AFFIRMATIONS



An affirmation is a short, but powerful, positive statement which helps you take control of your subconscious mind. It all starts from believing in yourself which will indeed provide you with the courage and strength to take on any challenge ahead. Try repeating this to yourself, “today will be filled with happiness” because you yourself know in your heart it’s what I want and deserve. Sure, it might sound silly, but it’s something that will help you achieve a happy life.

Take some time out of your day to make this a new challenge, even if it’s just for five minutes while you’re doing your morning routine, taking a shower, or any time you have time to think. If you find you have a hard time remembering to do this, try leaving a sticky note on your bathroom mirror as a reminder, and make it a part of your regular routine.

Everyone is capable of retraining their brain into thinking positively, and after some time and practice, it will come naturally! Soon enough, you’ll notice your world start to change for the better. You deserve to live your best life and it is in your control!!

Everyone’s preference is different! Start reading motivational books or blogs that help you get along and vibe with, as it really helps you focus on the positive when you’re feeling stuck. People are always intimidated by meditation because they think it’s too hard and there’s no way they can sit and think about nothing. To some people, mediation is a way of disconnecting from their hectic life, relaxing somewhere and thinking of something calming. The point of mediation is to relax, de-stress, and connect with yourself in a positive manner.


QUICK TIP - When you start meditating, lighting a candle helps you relax, be still and breathe in positive air and exhale all the negative stuff out. Playing calming music might help you attain a calming positive state too. Try out all the different meditation types and see what works best for you! There’s no right or wrong way, just whatever helps you achieve a positive state.


JOURNALING


Journaling does more than just help you record your memories and find self-expression. It is a good way to help us to stop, take a step back and reflect on ourselves. Use it as a way to document what upset you, made you happy, things you’re thankful for, whatever you’d like! It might be easier for some to express their feelings on paper, and seeing your words flow onto a page is also stress-relieving!

Writing a journal is a great way to unleash your creativity. Everyone has the potential to be creative, just that most of us haven’t discovered it yet. Your journal is the best place to start exploring your inner creativity. Write down anything that comes to your mind. Let your imaginations run wild and record it in Journey.

SURROUND YOURSELF WITH PEOPLE WHO LOVE AND ENCOURAGE YOU


Toxic people should have no place in your life. To be your best, you have to surround yourself with people who push you to do better, encourage you and love you. Having individuals who don’t wish you well will only hold you back and keep you from being your best self.

Regardless of what self-help tools you choose to incorporate into your daily life, just be sure to remain consistent and patient. Once you get the hang of things, it’ll become second nature and you’ll start noticing positive outcomes in your daily life!
